We are thrilled to have the opportunity to offer Reiki Trainings with Alexandra. *If you are looking for Reiki II Attunement, it will take place on Saturday, September 14th.
Reiki is a Japanese healing art that promotes overall well-being and deep relaxation. From the New Oxford American Dictionary, "Reiki is a healing technique based on the principle that the therapist can channel energy into the patient by means of touch, to activate the natural healing processes of the patient's body and restore physical and emotional well-being." Reiki is a Japanese word that directly translates to "Universal Life-Force Energy."

The practice of Reiki involves light hands-on touch and the hovering of hands to transfer energy. During Reiki attunements, the practitioner participates in a sacred ritual in which they are spiritually opened to allow Reiki energy to flow through them as a channel or conduit. Reiki attunements deepen our sensitivity, our awareness, and our compassion for self and others.
Reiki I attunement is all about the self. We will focus primarily on becoming comfortable with how the energy feels as it flows through your body and spirit. We will learn meditation techniques and self-care practices that will enhance and strengthen your connection to Reiki. We will also learn about the history of Reiki and the Father of Reiki, Mikao Usui.
Additionally, we will discuss what practicing on others might look like for you. There will be a guided meditation prior to our group attunement to open and prepare you to receive Reiki. Following the attunement, we will explore personal practice with the energy during a Restorative Yoga practice to conclude our time together.
Investment in this training is $150 and includes a Reiki I manual created by Alexandra as well as William Lee Rand's manual Reiki: The Healing Touch for Levels I & II. Bringing a journal and anything spiritually significant to you is highly recommended. Nourishing snacks will be lovingly made and provided by Alexandra.
This experience will be divinely and intuitively guided by Reiki, making it a unique and intentional experience for everyone in attendance. No two Reiki trainings are the same. Trust that if you feel called to Reiki at this time, you are meant to be here!
*It is recommended to eat light on the day before and the day of attunement.
