Reiki Explained Simply — Learn & Experience

This talk serves as an introduction to the Reiki system for those curious to understand what Reiki is and how it works.

During the one-hour talk, we will explore:

• What energy is in a broader sense, and how it influences everyday life
• Reiki as a structured system of working with energy
• common myths and misconceptions surrounding Reiki
• Reiki as a relaxation therapy and as a spiritual practice — what is the difference?
• how Reiki has influenced my own life and professional path

After the lecture, participants will be invited to participate in a brief group Reiki session, offering an opportunity to experience this state of deep relaxation firsthand.

This event is suitable for complete beginners, as well as for those who have experienced Reiki before but would like a clearer, more grounded understanding of the system.

There will also be time for questions and open discussion (Q&A).

No prior experience is required.

This talk is led by Maija Kovalevska, a Reiki Master Teacher and founder of Healing Hands Edinburgh.
She has over 16 years of personal Reiki practice and more than 9 years of teaching experience.
