We live in an age of unprecedented technological advancement. And yet, no one seems happy. Big Tech promised to make our lives better, but the only people who seem to be benefiting are gooners, looksmaxxers, and alt-right streamers. Which is why Skyler Higley and Michael Burns are coming to re-humanize you with a new comedic experimental procedure. Combining cutting-edge research in philosophy, science, and comedy, this procedure will lead the audience on a journey back to their own humanity.

Skyler Higley is an Emmy-nominated comedian and writer who has written for The Onion, CONAN, After Midnight with Taylor Tomlinson and most recently The Oscars. Skyler was one of the Just For Laughs New Faces in 2022,  and his stand-up has been featured on Comedy Central and Don’t Tell Comedy. He was recently named one of Vulture’s Comedians You Should Know.

Michael Burns is a philosopher turned comedian turned video essayist who spent years hosting the Wisecrack YouTube channel before launching his own channel in 2025. His work uses comedy, philosophy, and big ideas to make sense of an increasingly senseless world. His first film, Leave a Comment, is being released this fall on MeansTV.

REFUND POLICY:

Refunds can be requested up to 24 hours before the start of the show. If you purchase tickets and are a no-show on the night of the performance, you forfeit the right to a refund. Email [email protected] or contact Eventbrite through your purchase receipt.

AGE REQUIREMENTS:

We recommend audiences to be 18 or older due to mature content on stage; however, those under 18 are welcome with parental discretion.

PARKING:

Street parking is typically available within a 2 block radius of the theater. Try parking north of 7th Street on Lavaca, or west of Lavaca near Guadalupe & 8th (by the old library). We do not validate parking.

DRINK POLICY:

Our venue is BYOB. Must be 21+ years of age and present valid ID to consume alcoholic beverages on the premises. We reserve the right to deny service to anyone.
