Mt Zion #135 is honored to host and present R.W. Dr Oscar Alleyne presenting Freemasonry in South Africa: The US Connection. detailed exploration of fraternal, social, educational, and religious ties between the USA and South Africa with a particular focus on Freemasonry.
Dr Oscar Alleyne is an internationally respected Masonic speaker and practical thought leader having presented over 800 lectures to craft lodges and concordant bodies covering multiple areas of interests to Freemasons. He has published in several widely distributed Masonic journals, research bodies and educational conferences on Freemasonry. He is a past President and Fellow of The Masonic Society, a Fellow and Vice President of the Philalethes Society and a member of the Quatuor Coronati Lodge No. 2076 UGLE.

Brother Alleyne served as Junior Grand Warden of the Grand Lodge of New York during the 2018-2021 term. He has contributed valuable team leadership support to Grand Lodge priorities, initiatives and programs. He was coroneted a 33 Scottish Rite Mason at the 2019 Biennial Meeting of the Supreme Council NMJ. He also received the Sovereign Grand Commander's Medal for Distinguished Service for co-creating the Hauts Grades Academy educational program which has over 700 members enrolled and 139 graduates. He is also currently the Senior Grand Deacon for the Grand Council Allied Masonic Degrees of the United States of America.
