For 100 years, the heart of Detroit has beat to the rhythm of blades on ice and the roar of the crowd. From smoky rinks to championship parades, generations have grown up dreaming in red and white. Legends were born, dynasties were built, and through every triumph and trial, the fans never left. The City changed, but the spirit of Hockeytown only grew stronger. 100 years of Hockeytown - a century of passion, pride, and the unbreakable bond between a team and its people.Come celebrate 100 years of Hockeytown at the Dearborn Library. We will take a look back at the history of this great franchise with the help of pictures from Ilitch Holdings.
