Family Nights at MCAC are intended as a night for LGBTQ individuals and family of all ages to MCAC to enjoy LGBTQ-friendly events together! Biological families, chosen families, found families, grandparents, and guardians, all are welcome.
***IMPORTANT NOTE: Folks under the age of 19 are required to attend with a parent or guardian. All participants must be age 5 or older to participate.
Please review the following guidelines from the Birmingham Zoo:
Zoo Snooze: Beginning at 7pm with arrival and campsite set-up, Zoo Snoozes include a tour, education activity, and games before bed. Rise with the call of the wild to enjoy breakfast and a special morning experience before the Zoo opens.
WAIVER: All participants must complete a liability waiver prior to the encounter. Parent/guardian signatures will be required for all participants 18 and under.
CONDUCT: Participants may working areas of the Zoo and be in close proximity to Zoo animals. Participants must follow instructions from Zoo staff at all times. Participants who are disruptive and/or do not follow staff instructions may be removed from the program.
EQUIPMENT: Each family will need to provide their own tent and sleeping arrangements.
