Regional Resilience Action Plan Launch

The Northeast Florida Regional Council (NEFRC), in collaboration with local governments and other regional partners of Resilient First Coast (RFC), is proud to announce the upcoming release of the Regional Resilience Action Plan (RRAP), a landmark initiative designed to strengthen the region’s ability to adapt to the growing impacts of climate change and other related hazards.

This voluntary, coordinated framework provides a comprehensive roadmap for implementing strategic solutions to address issues such as flooding, heat, and hurricanes. The RRAP describes actions that NEFRC and RFC can take to improve regional resilience. This regional approach will advance resilience far beyond what could be accomplished by local governments working alone.

Attendees will hear from Chief Resilience Officers at the state, regional, and local levels about the RRAP and its implications for a more resilient future.
