Region II Head Start Association Annual Conference in Puerto Rico

Join us for our annual conference, as we return back to Puerto Rico for the first time since 2018! The conference will bring federal, regional and local experts on early childhood education to facilitate sessions that will support the professional development of Early Head Start and Head Start Program Administrators, staff, parents and community partners.

Our conference will occur at the newly remodeled Royal Sonesta San Juan. The Conference rate is available from November 12 through November 18, 2022 and includes:

Laguna King Room for $229 per night

Laguna Two Queen Beds for $229 per night

Garden View King for $259 per night

Ocean View Guestroom with 1 King or 2 Double Beds for $299 per night

Registration open 8am -5pm

Vendors open 8:30am -5pm

Morning workshops start at 830am (8:30-10am for 90 minute sessions and 10:15 – 11:45am) (3 hour sessions run 830am – 11:45am – include a 15 minute break)

Lunch on your own 1130 – 1pm

Workshops in afternoon 1-5pm (90 minute sessions run 1pm – 230pm and from 2:45 – 4:15pm) (3 hour workshops run 1 – 4:15pm – we ask them to take a 15 minute break)

Sessions end by 430pm

Wednesday 16th

Registration open 8am – 5pm

Vendors open 8:30am – 5pm

Morning workshops start at 830am (8:30-10am for 90 minute sessions and 10:15 – 11:45am) (3 hour sessions run 830am – 11:45am – include a 15 minute break)

Optional 10am – 4pm Site visits at HS Programs in PR (details currently being worked out)
