Region H Softball Tournament

Team check-in for this event will open at 8am. Team play begins at 9am. The opening ceremony will take place following the first game of the day, at approximately 10:15am. Softball skills competition will begin after the opening ceremony and games will resume.
The Region H Softball Skills and Team Competition will be held at the all new SCHEELS Sports Park at Legacy Pointe located at 3751 Imagineer Dr, Springfield, IL 62704. Gold Medalists from this tournament are eligible to participate in the 2026 Special Olympics Illinois State Softball Tournament which will also be held in Springfield!
Equipment
Coaches and athletes should bring bats/gloves needed for competition. Athletes and spectators may wish to bring water bottles and lawn chairs. No outside food or beverages other than water may be brought in.
Volunteer Opportunities
All volunteers will receive a t-shirt and a lunch. Volunteer duties include scorekeeping volunteers and softball skills volunteers . Volunteers do not need to have softball specific knowledge to attend this event. Please note that the end time may vary based on how quickly we get through the schedule. Concessions & Souvenirs
Concessions and souvenirs will be available for purchase on site. Lunches will be provided to athletes, registered coaches and volunteers.
