Regina Special Event: Neurodivergent Friending Board Games Mixer

Join us for a relaxed, neurodivergent-friendly evening of board games, conversation, and connection. This event is designed primarily for ADHD, autistic, and AuDHD adults who are looking to meet new people in a low-pressure, inclusive environment where different communication styles, social needs, and ways of relating are welcomed and respected.

Expect:

• Casual board games
• Optional conversation starter prompt cards
• Flexible socializing (it’s okay to take breaks!)
• A welcoming environment for neurodivergent communication styles
• No forced icebreakers or high-pressure networking energy
• Opportunities to meet with and match others with shared experiences and interests

Attendees will receive a match card at sign in with two columns: match or friend. For those you want to keep connecting with, add their name onto one of the columns! If your name also appears on their match card, you'll be sent their contact info after the event. While the primary focus of the evening is platonic connection and community-building, we recognize that some attendees may be open to romantic connections. To help make social intentions clearer and reduce ambiguity, optional wristbands will be available to indicate whether attendees are interested in:

• Friendship only
• Open to flirting/dating

Participation in the wristband system is completely optional. This event is queer-friendly, and inclusive of all genders and sexual orientations.

Registration opens at 6:30PM in our own private event room. You can decide if you'd like to play games or just chat and mingle. Attendees are also welcome to bring their own favorite board games to share with others.

Whether you’re outgoing, shy, awkward, chatty, quiet, newly diagnosed, self-identified, or just looking for a space that feels easier to exist in socially, you are welcome here.

All ages 19 and up. Come solo or with friends to enjoy connection, community, and a space where you can show up as yourself.

This venue is accessible but does not provide gender neutral bathrooms.
