The Tango Project brings together three of Regina’s arts organizations for a full tango experience—move with New Dance Horizons, listen with Regina Musical Club, and connect with Darke Hall.Join us on May 7 for an unforgettable evening centred on the music and spirit of tango. The night begins with Stradivatango, a stunning concert presented by Regina Musical Club at Darke Hall. Featuring internationally acclaimed Canadian artists Stéphane Tétreault (cello) and Denis Plante (bandoneon), this performance explores the passion, rhythm, and intimacy of tango through virtuosic musicianship. Advance tickets are recommended for the concert.
Following the performance, stay for a free Milonga at Darke Hall—no additional ticket needed. Led by Dayle Schroeder-Hillier and Kivil Woodward, the evening continues with a tango demonstration before opening up the dance floor for all. Whether you’re an experienced dancer or simply curious, this is a welcoming space to connect, move, and celebrate together.
