FAQ:

Where’s the nearest airport?

If traveling by plane you can fly into Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport (SAV), Jacksonville International Airport (JAX), or Brunswick Golden Isles Airport( BQK); please be advised that if traveling by air you will be responsible to get yourself to the dock via car rental or Uber/Lyft

How do we get to the island?

You can only access the island by ferry. The ferry fee is $5 (Cash Only) and not included in your ticket price. This fee covers your round trip. Arrive at the dock 30-45 minutes prior to departure to ensure adequate time to unload, park and get settled on the ferry. Day Party only (departure time on Saturday is at 9am, if you miss the ferry you will miss the event. The ferry back to the mainland departs Sapelo at 4pm.) If you will be camping out for the weekend the ferry will depart the mainland at 330pm and 530pm on Friday May 3rd and departure on Sunday May 5th is 8am.

What are the accommodations if I want to arrive early?

Camping is available on the island with arrival on Friday May 3rd and departure May 5th (see ticket options). Feel free to book your own airbnb/vrbo on the island or surrounding area.. Hotels are available in nearby Brunswick, Darien or Townsend

What do I need to bring?

Bring blankets or folding chairs for the beach. Cash only for the vendors. Wifi is very sketchy on the island and there is no guarantee that square or cash app will be available.

If camping you will need to bring your own tent, sheets, blankets, pillows, towels and rags. Also bring your own personal snacks, swimsuit, shower sandals, insect repellent, flashlight, hammock (optional).

What does my ticket cover?

Your ticket covers access to Reggae on the Beach, transportation to and from Nanny Goat Beach. If you purchase a ticket to camp then it covers 2 nights at the community campground in Hogg Hummock.
