A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 22nd, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 4:00pm at the Iona House at Calusa Nature Center, 3450 Ortiz Avenue, Fort Myers, FL 33905.
It is an open house. The first hour, from 1:00pm to 2:00pm, will be reserved for close family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider sending a favorite plant in Gena’s memory-a living reminder of the beauty, love, and care she cultivated throughout her life.
Though she will be deeply missed, Gena’s love, strength, creativity, and unforgettable spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
