Únete a Vive NW para una caminata especial de observación de aves, ¡donde cada paso y cada sonrisa se convierte en un regalo! Trae un juguete para donar y disfruta de la naturaleza mientras compartimos momentos inolvidables.

Este sábado 16 de noviembre en colaboración con el Columbia Land Trust, Bird Alliance of Oregon y Oregon Coalition of Land Trusts exploraremos el Refugio Nacional de Vida Silvestre un tesoro natural, diseñado para proteger y preservar los hábitats de diversas especies de fauna y flora. Aquí realizaremos una caminata de 2 millas, para admirar y disfrutar de este  paraíso natural. Luego, nos dirigiremos a Frenchman’s Bar, ubicado en las orillas del río Columbia, famoso por sus impresionantes vistas panorámicas y diversos ecosistemas, con extensas playas de arena y abundante vegetación. Durante este recorrido, podremos admirar miles de aves volando sobre el río, un espectáculo completamente natural que te dejará sin aliento.

Este evento es completamente gratuito con la donación de un juguete nuevo para niños/niñas de tres años en adelante. Cada juguete será un gesto de amor y solidaridad que llegará a las familias que más lo necesitan en esta temporada navideña. Es una excelente oportunidad para dar un poco de alegría, compartir momentos especiales en la naturaleza y retribuir a nuestra comunidad. ¡No te lo pierdas!

Join Vive NW for a special birdwatching hike, where every step and smile becomes a gift! Bring a toy to donate and enjoy nature as we share unforgettable moments.

This Saturday, November 16, in collaboration with Columbia Land Trust, Bird Alliance of Oregon, and Oregon Coalition of Land Trusts, we’ll explore the National Wildlife Refuge, a natural treasure designed to protect and preserve the habitats of diverse wildlife and flora. Here, we’ll take a 2-mile hike to admire and enjoy this natural paradise. Then, we’ll head to Frenchman’s Bar along the banks of the Columbia River, famous for its stunning panoramic views and diverse ecosystems, with expansive sandy beaches and lush vegetation. During this journey, we’ll witness thousands of Sandhill Cranes flying over the river—a breathtaking natural spectacle.

This event is completely free with the donation of a new toy for children ages three and up. Each toy will be a gesture of love and solidarity, reaching families in need this holiday season. It’s a wonderful opportunity to spread joy, share special moments in nature, and give back to our community. Don’t miss it!
