About this Event

The Refuse to Be a Victim Program, offered by the National Rifle Association (NRA), is a crime prevention and personal safety program designed to help individuals reduce their chances of becoming a victim of crime. The program is comprised of a four-hour seminar given by NRA-certified instructors that covers topics such as general awareness, home security, mental preparation, and physical security. This seminar also provides an overview of the various types of technology available for personal safety and security, including various forms of non-lethal self-defense devices.

The Refuse to Be a Victim Program provides individuals of all ages with the knowledge and resources to help them protect themselves and their loved ones from potential criminal threats. The program also provides tips for making one's home, vehicle, and other places of residence more secure, as well as techniques for staying safe while traveling. By taking this course, individuals can gain the confidence and skills to help them better protect themselves and their families in any situation.

Your instructor, Brendan Murphy, is a retired Police Officer with over 20+ years of instruction and application of crime prevention techniques. He has a heart for service as he lives, worships, shops, plays and thrives here in Warren County. He also serves as the Chairman of the Front Royal Police Foundation and founder and CEO of Invicta360.
