Reframe Your Work Narrative: Transforming Shame into Strength
About this Event
A Professional Development Workshop for Peer Support Professionals at Advocates for Recovery
Whether you're entering the workforce, navigating a career transition, or simply feeling stuck in your professional journey, this workshop is designed with peer support professionals in mind.
Together, we'll explore our work histories, challenge the stories we tell ourselves about our abilities, unpack imposter syndrome, and identify the strengths that lived experience brings to the workplace. Through guided reflection and practical exercises, participants will leave with greater confidence, a clearer understanding of their professional value, and concrete next steps for moving their careers forward.
The workshop will be facilitated by Eliana Horenstein and co-facilitated with Dë Waldron, a Certified Career Coach with extensive experience helping individuals overcome workplace challenges, build confidence, navigate career transitions, and align their work with their values and strengths.
Whether you're searching for your first peer support role, advancing within the field, or considering your next chapter, this session offers a supportive space to reflect, reconnect with your purpose, and move forward with intention.
