About this Event
The 2025 Reformed & Renewed Conference will explore the theme of Biblical contentment. Together we will grieve the disappointments of this life and grapple with what it means to possess godly contentment in a world not yet made right.
Our desire is that each attendee would be comforted by the promises of Scripture, convicted about the insufficiency of earthly treasures, and convinced of the sufficiency of Christ.
Our plenary speaker Megan Hill lives with her husband (a pastor) and four children in Massachusetts, where she is a member of West Springfield Covenant Community Church (PCA). She is the author of several books, including Contentment: Seeing God's Goodness and is the managing editor for The Gospel Coalition.
Through eight focused breakout sessions, we will delve deeper into the complexities of godly contentment with the following authors as our guides:
- Kathryn Butler, MD: Contentment and Pain
- Christine Chappell: Contentment and Anxiety & Depression
- Amy DiMarcangelo: Contentment and Indwelling Sin
- Ellen Dykas: Contentment and Relationships
- Elyse Fitzpatrick: Contentment and Aging
- Glenna Marshall: Contentment and Waiting
- Sara Wallace: Contentment and Motherhood
- Lauren Whitman: Contentment and Shame & Regret

At the 2025 Reformed & Renewed Pre-Conference, keynote speaker Kathryn Butler will guide us through the physiological and spiritual realities that make up our embodied experience. We will consider what godly contentment means as we await the restoration of our bodies. In the panel session, we will hear from four women in various seasons of life about what it means to pursue contentment with our bodies and their appearance in a fallen world.
