We are delighted to announce that our July REFORMATION party will feature DER BÜROKRAT making their debut UK gig!Der Bürokrat is the necessary collision of two pivotal trajectories within the European underground. On one side, Ben, the sonic architect behind the electro-dark cult Hammershøi; on the other, Jules, the voice and electro punk-ebm nerve of Zug.
Having closed their respective chapters on the stages of major international festivals, the two multi-instrumentalists have merged into an entity that rejects the superfluous. Their synthetic minimalism transforms Italian-French aesthetics into constant tension: a sharp dialogue between Teutonic rigor and Italo-French creativity.
Der Bürokrat does not seek space. They occupy it by right.
