🌞 Beat the heat and wade into another cool, inspiring guest lecture from Orlando’s own design darling: Sean Walsh of Secret Society Goods, and Principal Graphic Designer and Creative Director at AOA, via AIGA Orl’s reFOCUS 2026 series.
Join us as Sean shares Lessons from the Swamp: Two Steamy Decades of Graphic Design, spilling the tea on topics such as:
💗 Stumbling into doing what you love;
↪️ Pivoting into experiential design and working with some of the biggest IPs in the world;
🧘 Making peace with creative humidity by finding balance between your professional career and your mental health;
🐊 Creating opportunities and turning career gators into glow-ups;

If we’re lucky, he may share some Central Florida birdwatching tips… because inspiration lurks where least expected!

Sean finds inspiration everywhere – old signs, vintage advertisements, product labels, analog technology, architecture, theme parks, matchbooks, luggage tags, posters – but he is constantly amazed at the creativity sparked in him by spending time in nature.
