We invite you to join a 3-day workshop, ‘Reflections Within: Introduction to Photography and Therapy,’ with Alexandra Clod, to explore photography as a transformative practice – a mirror of your inner world and a bridge to the unconscious.

Through guided photographic exercises, meditative reflection, and group dialogue, participants will turn their gaze inward – toward identity, needs, and relationships. The workshop is not positioned as a therapy group, but as a journey of self-exploration, where photography, reflection, and dialogue naturally open therapeutic pathways for oneself and, potentially, others.
📌 During the workshop, you will:
– What defines us – and what does not?
– How do others see us, and how do we see ourselves?
– How can emotions be transformed into visual metaphors?
– How to develop self-compassion through photography?
📌 This workshop will be beneficial for photographers and artists seeking to deepen their understanding of the therapeutic aspects of photographic practice, as well as art therapists, educators, social workers, and other professionals working with diverse social groups. No specific skills or equipment are required – just bring a digital camera or a smartphone.

Alexandra Clod (1990, Donetsk) – interdisciplinary artist, psychologist, and researcher working with photography, video, and installation. Her practice explores emotions, memory, and postcolonial boundaries, often reflecting on industrial heritage, environmental crisis, and the human–land relationship. In addition to her artistic practice, Alexandra has a background in counselling psychology. In 2023, she focused her master's thesis in psychology on the transformative power of photography in times of turmoil. Since then, she continues to investigate the therapeutic potential of photography and its role in cultivating self-awareness and collective coherence.
