Now in their 40th year, the Winter Ensemble has sung for audiences that enjoy classical and contemporary music specially selected for the holiday season.
The Locust Grove program includes beautiful historical carols, like Here We Come a Wassailing; arrangements by the prolific American composer, Gwyneth Walker, such as Bring a Torch; lyrical, contemporary pieces by the Norwegian composer, Ola Gjeilo, and movements from Vivaldi’s soaring and uplifting Gloria.
Light refreshments will be served.
