Reflections at 40: A Conversation with Wendy Watriss and Steven Evans

In conjunction with the FotoFest Biennial 2026, the Fulbright Association Houston presents a conversation with FotoFest co-founder Wendy Watriss and executive director Steven Evans. Following an introduction by Professor Emeritus Howard Bossen, Watriss and Evans will discuss the central exhibition, , and how FotoFest engages an international audience.

Global Visions – FotoFest at 40 marks four decades of groundbreaking photographic arts and education programming in Houston, TX. The central exhibition highlights significant works and themes from each of the 20 previous biennials, from 1986 to 2024, and features work by over 450 artists from 58 countries.

Following a gallery viewing at 5:30 PM, the panel will begin at 6:30 PM. Light refreshments will be served.
