Reflecting on the meaning of life – The Socratic way

One of the most recognisable names in Philosophy, and at the same time very enigmatic, the ancient Greek philosopher Socrates has many profound teachings – from what he said, to the way he lived life – which serve as valuable lessons for us in the 21st century. Learning from the ‘Socratic way of questioning’ can we learn to reflect deeply into the meaning of our lives and to better define ideas that we resonate with. These reflections if integrated into our actions may help us build a better future.

This Event is hosted by New Acropolis Pune, a School of Philosophy, which is run and managed completely by volunteers, who come together in the common pursuit of Philosophy as a way of Life.

To make the most of this event:

• Please be there by 5:45pm to meet other Aspiring Philosophers.

• Look forward to Q&A with the Instructor at the end of the Talk

• The session will contain a short break with Tea/Coffee and light snacks. Use the time to interact with other participants.

• Volunteers from New Acropolis will be available to receive and help you. Please ask them all your questions!
