Refill & Relate: An Authentic Mom Meetup - June
About this Event
Join us monthly! This is a free support group for moms of elementary-aged (give or take) children. The inspiration for this group is to find authentic connection. We all deserve a safe space to strip away the "everything is fine" facade. I've often felt alone and confused in motherhood. My hope is to create a safe space for those who are looking to rediscover themselves through conversations and community.
June's Topic: Ditch the Idea of a "Perfect" Summer
Looking around social media right now, it feels like the summer countdown has begun with a mountain of pressure.
If you already feel exhausted just looking at the calendar, you are not alone.
It is incredibly easy to fall into the trap of trying to play Cruise Director for three straight months, only to end up burnt out, overwhelmed, and stuck in the comparison game.
But here’s the truth: Kids don't need a picture-perfect summer; they need a present, regulated mom.
Join us for our next meetup as we break down the seasonal pressure and get real about summer survival.
What we’ll dive into:
- The Comparison Trap: Unpacking where our expectations come from and how to shut out the social media noise.
- Magic vs. Memories: Why "low-lift" and "boring" days are actually essential for your kids (and your sanity).
- The Low-Lift Joy Menu: Collaborating on realistic, zero-prep ideas for fun that allow you to actually sit down and enjoy the sun, too.
Bring your real self, your summer worries, and let's give ourselves permission to slow down before the season even starts.
Let’s protect our peace and plan a summer that actually feels restful for everyone in the house. Can’t wait to see you there!
