Welcome to the beautiful Dawes House where together we will sip tea and create our own fascinator or headpiece under the instruction of costume designer Anna Glowacki. Fabric, materials, patterns, and tea are all included. Participants are welcome to bring their own additional materials as well. This workshop-party will culminate in the opportunity for participants to model their creations throughout the beautiful backdrop of the Dawes House!About the artist
Anna Glowacki is a finalist designer for reFashioning History 2025 at the History Center. After receiving her BFA in Fashion Design at the International Academy of Design and Technology in Chicago, she began her career by designing for theater productions. She later shifted her focus to designing high end one-of-a-kind costumes for ballroom dancers, circus performers, cosplayers, marketing campaigns, event entertainment, and art installations. She approaches sewing and designing garments as not just a skill, but an art!
