About the Book: A Pair of Aces is a historical fiction novel by Marie Benedict (writing as Heather Terrell) and Victoria Christopher Murray, chosen for Reese's Book Club, about two women—a Black female prosecutor and a high-class madam—who team up in 1930s New York to bring down mob boss Lucky Luciano by targeting his prostitution ring.
