The 50th Annual Military Vehicle Preservation Association Convention returns to Louisville, and they want WWII Reenactors! This specific Facebook event is for WWII Reenactors interested in participating and displaying in the outdoor camp area as part of the Convention. There will be an outdoor display area where Reenactors are able to set up period tents and stay on-site. Reenactors can start setting up as early as Tuesday. The convention will be open to the public on Friday and Saturday, and Sunday is move out day.
Currently we plan on at least one battle on Saturday, and we are working on providing several meals via a period mess setup. We are also working on supplying a limited amount of blanks!
All WWII impressions will be welcome, but no political displays. Reenactors will be able to enter the Convention held inside while in uniform, but do not bring functional firearms inside the exposition hall. We will be following the same Safety and Authenticity regulations that the WWII Historical Reenactment Society utilizes.
