Reel Talk: Sustaining a healthy career in TV
About this Event
As part of an unmissable season of events, Reel Talk addresses how to stay in the game for the long haul without burning out. With a high percentage of working freelancers this is a crucial topic for the UK industry right now. This event accompanies Test Card, our online exhibition examining the impact people of colour have had on British television.
Featuring Annika Allen (Black Leaders in TV); Dhruti Shah (Award-winning journalist); Lucy Sheen (actress, playwright, and activist); chaired by Brenda Emmanus OBE (Journalist/broadcaster).
Moving the conversation from surviving to sustaining, this panel will provide a practical guide to a career that lasts, helping people understand they have more agency than they think.
