Kick off #ReelQ39 in style! Join us for Opening Night of the 39th year of Reel Q, Pittsburgh's LGBTQ+ Film Festival, at the iconic Andy Warhol Museum. Director Daniel Ribeiro will join us in-person for a Q&A after the regional premiere of his film, PERFECT ENDINGS.
Your ticket includes museum admission, so feel free to arrive early and explore the exhibits, or grab a drink and mingle.

PERFECT ENDINGS:
Like the perfect ending of a great film - that is the way filmmaker João describes the end of his 10-year relationship with Hugo. Despite breaking up, they remained best friends. However, reentering the dating scene brought a whirlwind of emotions, revealing that reality can’t be controlled like a movie script.

ABOUT REEL Q:
Reel Q began in 1982 as the a Pittsburgh Lesbian & Gay Film Series, a project of the Pittsburgh’s GLCC (Now the Pittsburgh Equality Center) and Pittsburgh Filmmakers. Our founder Rich Cummings launched the festival in current form in 1985 and we hosted the first Pittsburgh Lesbian and Gay Film Festival.
Now called Reel Q, film festival in October is the sixth oldest LGBTQ+ film festival in the world and the longest running film festival in Pittsburgh.
We also organize year-round events including our Reel Stories international film series. We facilitate meet and greets, panel discussions, parties, and partnered community events.
