Reef Talk - Miami Beach

Join us for a dialogue about the reef that is a short swim from the sands of Miami Beach. We will have presentations on the below topics followed by snacks and refreshments to get to meet other locals and non-profits that care about protecting the ocean.

What are we talking about:

1)Who’s living in our back yard - Highlighting some of the coral and fish species thriving off of Miami Beach

2) The current status of protecting Miami Beach’s coral reef

3) An intro into coral reef ecosystems and their current plight (presented by Dr. Shireen Rahimi)

4) How you can get involved in protecting the reef and meet new friends that care about our Oceans! Connect with local environmentally focused non-profits doing work to protect and preserve our enviroment
