IT’S BACK!
Taiwan’s first, biggest, and longest running pool party series has made its long-awaited and much-desired return! But this time, things are different. We’re not just doing pools. Instead, we’re doing beaches, roofs, rivers, waterfalls, and more. Follow https://www.instagram.com/havana.taiwan/ for all the news.
On Saturday, June 18 Redpoint presents HAVANA GRAND OPENING POOL PARTY. We are taking it back to one of our original venues with amazing memories at the Greater XinDian Swimming Pool. Do you remember when we had a #swagventure with Dave Nada, the inventor of Moombahton, when he came to Taiwan? How about House Music legend Sammy Bananas when Havana did a summer with Red Bull Music Academy?
This summer, things are a bit different. Sunset Pool Parties have the Greater XinDian Swimming Pool each Saturday this summer. We are working in conjunction with them for FIVE HAVANA events [or more?!?]. Each time, we’ve got one party from 2pm to 10pm, but it’s going to be organized into TWO PARTS [2pm-6pm] and [6pm-10pm].
PART 1
[2pm-6pm]
This is for the people that want to get a nice tan, those who like to drink and chill, and for people with kids because Havana is for the children. The Greater XinDian Swimming Pool has just recently built an amazing rooftop overlooking the pool and the mountains in Xindien. COME EARLY AND ENJOY FREE REDPOINT DRAFT BEER FROM 2pm to 4pm. Kids will be running wild in all the pools, so parents are encouraged to bring the kids early and tire them out. We also have tables for people who want bottles and lots of room for those looking to get some sun on their skin during the day. Music will be funk, soul, reggae, chill, lofi, etc for the early part of the party.
PART 2
[6pm-10pm]
The kids are asked to leave by dinner time at the Greater XinDian Swimming Pool. This means HAVANA takes over the bottom pool area and things are get crazy. When the sun goes down, the BPMs go up and we have a REDPOINT x PEACH PLEASE dance contest as well as DJs Jenny, Cross Cuts, Marcus A, and Fratzuki playing all the music that will make you move. If all you want to do is turn the funk up, then come at 6pm.
We also have food provided by FIESTA which will include tacos, empanadas, and ceviche, so come hungry.
