🚣‍♂️🍻 Well folks, the votes are in!
52% of y’all said Saturday, Sept 6 — so mark it down, this is (for real this time 🤞) the last float of the season before the river gets colder than your mother-in-law’s stare. ❄️😂
📍 Where we start: Pump House parking lot.
We’ll organize carpooling up to the dam in Tega Cay, float back down, and once we’re back at the Pump House we’ll run drivers back up to the dam to grab their cars. Easy peasy, redneck logistics.
✅ To-Do List (same as always):
Bring your tube (un-inflated till we get there, trust us on this one).
Cooler with drinks & snacks.
Sunscreen, hat, and shoes you don’t mind losing.
Towel + dry clothes for the ride home.
Cash or card in case we swing by Grapevine for a cold one. 🍺
⚠️ What we’ve learned the hard way:
Don’t blow up your tube before arriving — otherwise we can’t jam everyone into the carpool. (We ain’t strapping you to the roof again. 😅)
Don’t leave your car keys locked in your car at the dam. Yes, that happened. Yes, we’re still laughing. 🤦‍♂️
The river looks chill… until it splits the group in three parts and makes us swim like Olympic athletes. Stay sharp!
