Redefining the Future of Nursing and Healthcare: Artificial Intelligence and Precision Health
The Chin Family Institute for Nursing is proud to present this one-day, in-person conference for nurses, nursing students, and healthcare leaders. Join us for a full day of learning, networking, and hands-on experiences with the latest AI tools and precision health innovations!
OBJECTIVES
- Describe current and emerging AI applications in nursing practice, including virtual nursing, predictive analytics, and workflow optimization, to improve patient care, efficiency, and precision health outcomes.
- Describe how AI integration within Electronic Health Records (EHRs), Clinical Decision Support Systems (CDSS) enables Precision Health.
- Identify ethical, legal, and equity considerations in AI adoption in nursing and assess their implications for nursing advocacy, patient trust, and inclusive innovation.
- Illustrate the role of nurses in shaping, implementing, and evaluating AI and precision health tools across clinical, academic, and policy environments.
- Apply introductory strategies to integrate AI literacy, prompt engineering, and generative tools into nursing education and continuing professional development.
- Describe examples of how AI may help reduce documentation burden and administrative tasks, potentially improving nurse satisfaction and expanding time for direct patient care.
- Facilitate interdisciplinary discussion to share ideas on AI informed models, educational innovations, and outcome measurement approaches.
