A lifelong fan of fantasy and science fiction, Allen draws inspiration from authors like R.A. Salvatore, J.R.R. Tolkien, and Dan Simmons. After a decade in the recruiting industry, he returned to writing with renewed purpose in 2020. He currently lives in Athens, GA, and is hard at work on the next book in the series.
