**Red Square Long Form**Led by Benjamin Lloyd
Come and join Ben in an exploration of the intersection of long form improvisation, meditation/mindfulness, and spirituality.
Expanding on a form created by his mother Barbara Dilley, Ben creates a “sacred space” in the rehearsal room: the area enclosed by a square of red yarn. After a series of warm up exercises aimed at softening defenses and opening up connections, Ben leads the group in a brief meditation practice before exploring the Red Square. Ben will coach participants in long form improv as we explore. Over the course of the three workshops, we will plant “seeds” inside the Red Square and see what grows.
This workshop is open to anyone, but a familiarity with theatrical/spoken word improvisation is helpful.
All sessions occur at
Boulder Friends Meetinghouse.
