Join us on Saturday, September 21 from 9:30 – 1:30 pm to celebrate International Red Panda Day! Red pandas are considered endangered, with less than 10,000 individuals left in the wild, and possibly as few as 2,500.Participate in a scavenger hunt by looking for special red panda icons located throughout Revolution Ridge. Completed and returned scavenger hunts are all entered in for the chance to win an original painting by one of our very own red pandas, Miso! We invite you to also stop by our educational tables located along the lower zoo path to learn about red panda adaptations, diet and conservation efforts – you can even try your hand at walking like a red panda!
Paintings created by our resident red pandas will also be available for purchase, with proceeds going toward conservation efforts. We hope you can join us!
Red Panda Day activities are included with a GSC membership, or the cost of general admission.
