Join Claire Hennessy as she talks to debut author Luke Devlin about his book The Anatomy of a Silent Scream.
Luke Devlin is a novelist and writer from Dublin, Ireland. With a background in male mental health and wellbeing, his work focuses on masculinity, silence, and the psychological cost of control. His debut novel, The Anatomy of a Silent Scream, explores the life of a therapist in emotional free fall and the reckoning that follows. Influenced by Irish literary tradition and psychological realism, Devlin’s writing has been praised for its insight, restraint, and emotional precision. He lives in Wicklow and is currently working on his second novel and is in production discussions around his debut play.
Claire Hennessy is a writer, editor, book reviewer and creative writing facilitator from Dublin. Her most recent book is a collection of short stories, In The Movie Of Her Life (Doire Press, 2025).
