Friday September 13th is going to be on fire at the Linsmore Tavern (1298 Danforth Ave) as we welcome Red Hot Silly Pappas and their incredible Tribute to Red Hot Chili Peppers and Reggae, Rock Cover Band, Maple Grove! This is going to be a ton of fun with these two bands, as the Silly Papas will be performing all of your favourite hits from RHCP and Maple Grove has a high-energy set-list that will please all audiences! The show starts at 9pm, Tickets are $15 in advance, $20 at the door!
RED HOT SILLY PAPPAS is tribute band from Toronto, an electrifying tribute to one of the most iconic rock bands of all time. With a passion for the Chili Peppers’ unique blend of funk, rock, and punk energy, your band brings an authentic and high-energy performance to every show. From nailing the infectious bass grooves of Flea to capturing Anthony Kiedis’s unmistakable vocal style, most beautiful guitar riffs of John Frusciante and obviously playing those sick Chad Smith drum grooves, the Silly Pappas delivers the hits that fans know and love, including “Under the Bridge,” “Give It Away,” and “Californication”, “By the Way”, “Suck my Kiss” and much more. Maple Groove is cover band, formed entirely by Brazilian musicians, based in Downtown Toronto, has been making waves for the past two years. With a dynamic blend of rock, reggae, and funk influences, the band creates a vibrant and energetic sound that blends the rich musical heritage of Brazil with diverse global styles. Their performances are an eclectic mix of high-energy rock riffs, laid-back reggae grooves, and funky rhythms that captivate audiences and keep them coming back for more.
