Parents/caregivers are encouraged to come to school and read with their child(ren) for a twenty minute time block. Reading with children offers a multitude of benefits for their development and well-being. It fosters language and literacy skills, strengthens the parent-child bond, promotes cognitive development, sparks imagination, and cultivates a lifelong love of reading. Furthermore, it enhances social-emotional skills, concentration, and even reduces stress. Our students love to share their love of reading with family members. Please plan to attend! It's great to see our classrooms and hallways filled with families unplugging and reading together!
