Red and White Charity Boxing Night in Stoke on Trent

Bring your friends, enjoy some thrilling matches, and cheer on the fighters—all while making a difference for the Macari Foundation and the residents we over see.

The monies raised will go toward the running of the centre which is now 10 years old.

The Macari Centre was set up in 2016 and from humble beginnings, we now provide support and accommodation to around 21 individuals, at our base on Fletcher Road, Stoke.

The centre houses individuals in self-contained apartments, giving them an address and space of their own, and access to support from our team of trained staff, 24 hours a day.

We firmly believe that our residents are capable of change and will achieve their full potential when offered a secure, supportive, empowering and non-judgmental environment.

Our Mission Statement

To realise this vision, the Macari Foundation strives to:

• provide a welcoming environment, where all individuals feel valued;
• train staff to engage with guests and form professional relationships;
• use these relationships to promote growth in guests’ self esteem, confidence and aspirations;
• provide information, support and, where necessary, practical help that will empower people to make and act on informed choices arrived at by themselves;
• Encourage and empower residents to become involved in the running of the centre, and in forums designed to give guests a voice;
• Promote the needs of homeless and marginalised people locally by means of high quality PR, thereby helping to reduce discrimination towards them and influencing the local community to become more supportive and less judgmental.
