To help us launch National Recycling Week the Halve Waste team are very proud to host the November Albury Wodonga Repair Cafe at our education centre at the Albury Waste Management Centre. If you haven't been to the repair cafe before - a wonderful and talented group of volunteers work with you to repair common household items like garden tools, sharpen implements, sewing and mending of fabrics and other goods and jewellery repairs. Head over to the Albury Wodonga Repair Cafe Facebook page for more details of the repairers available this Saturday. Gather up those household items in the 'fix it' pile! The Halve Waste team will also be demonstrating the new mini plastic recycling machine at 10:30am and running a 'Sustainable Gift Wrapping' workshop at 12pm.

PLEASE NOTE: The education centre is accessed via the Albury Waste Management Centre - not the 'reuse shop'. We will have signage as you enter the site to direct you but allow extra time as the centre can be busy on weekends. Please follow any instructions for parking and car pool if you can!
