Create a unique piece of recycled window glass art! We’ll use fiber products to create a lifted design under a piece of ¼ inch glass. Each person will either use a design I have available or create their own original.Once the designs are cut and laid out, we will finish by sifting glass powders onto our top pieces. I will bring each design home and fire them in the kiln. The glass will melt down onto the fiber paper and take on the detail, layers, and color you put into your design.
I’ll explain the kiln program we are using to melt the glass. This process will take overnight to heat and cool your pieces slowly. Each piece is 9 x 4.5 inches, they can either sit horizontal or vertical in a stand. Stand provided.
Finished pieces will be ready for pick up at Northern Whimsy the following week.
Light refreshments will be provided.
