Recycle Center Tour

Have you ever wondered what happens to your recyclables once you put them in your blue cart? Tour the Lexington Recycle Center to get a behind-the-scenes look at how your recyclables are sorted and bailed before they're sent off to be processed into new products.

The plant will be running (and loud) during the Thursday 11/13 tour and will NOT be running during the Saturday 11/15 tours.

Reminders:

• Tour capacity is limited. You must register for the number of people in your group (up to 4). We cannot accept walk-ins or late arrivals.
• Participants must be 13 years old and up.
• Closed-toed shoes are required.
• The tour involves many stairs and grated walkways.
