About this Event
Kenan Comer is a full time trainer and Coach. He and his business partner Dave have offered to give 36 Chambers Members, friends and family a seminar on recovery, nutrition and resistance training. This is a great opportunity for you to dial in those 'missing links'; if you've asked any of the Coaches the following questions, this seminar is for you:
- Why am I so sore?
- How do I get stronger?
- How do I make my punches or kicks more powerful?
- How can I build my cardio or endurance so I don't get so winded?
The purpose of the seminar is to help people understand how to manage their recovery and capacity so they don't get hurt and can continue to train without pain. The seminar will also
- Provide an athletes "Hierarchy of Needs" so that your athletes understand what physical qualities they should be working on and their order of importance.
- Dispel nutrition myths and explain the fundamentals of feeding yourself well.
- Explain the fundamentals of resistance training.
Kenan is an Active Life Professional candidate extensive training and experience working with people who are in pain or unable to pursue the activities they love because of some musculoskeletal dysfunction. His partner Dave is a certified Precision Nutrition and NASM coach. Read more about the Active Life Professional program here:
The workshop will be approximately 90 minutes,You are welcome to bring friends and family; there is a nominal charge of $5.
