Drawing from Premise Health's experience with its own workforce, Beth Ratliff, Chief Operating Officer, will discuss the business case for supporting employees in recovery, policies and practices that have made a difference, and how organizations of any size can begin building a healthier, more resilient workplace.

Michael Howard, AEHC President & CEO, will also offer a brief update of the 2026 Pulse of the Purchaser Survey results. As a member of the National Alliance, AEHC supports the annual Pulse of the Purchaser survey by helping bring Alabama employers into the conversation. Our members participate in the survey, and we encourage employers beyond our membership to share their perspectives as well. The 2026 saw a record number of employers participate: over 400!
