Reclaiming Canada Conference

In recognition of the 40th anniversary of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms, a national conference will be held in the BC provincial capital to assemble a coalition of leaders, including Brian Peckford, to discuss the future of democracy in Canada.

This gathering to Reclaim Canada will take place from May 28th to May 29th and will be jointly hosted by We Unify Canada, Taking Back Our Freedoms, Vaccine Choice Canada, Freedom Rising and many others. The conference will focus on peaceful action as well as the principles that embody fundamental individual liberties.

Canada’s constitution was founded to protect individual rights and freedoms in order to unify the nation. To empower Canadians, it is important to form a Congress of Citizens to counsel our government and hold them accountable to truth and the rule of law. We will bring together Canadians from across the country to form a national strategy to advance our democracy and to repair the damage that stems from political and societal dissonance.

On Saturday May 28, 2022 at 12pm, the Honourable Brian Peckford will be joined by other guest speakers to advocate for liberty and unity. Following guest speaker presentations at the Legislative Assembly (501 Belleville Street, Victoria, BC), there will be a peaceful march through downtown Victoria.

On Saturday May 28th at 7pm, a Congress of Citizens will meet at Oaklands Chapel (2736 Fernwood Rd, Victoria, BC). On Sunday May 29th at 12pm, we will continue this event at the Victoria Edelweiss Club, (108 Niagara St, Victoria, BC). We invite all Canadians to help us build a stronger and more unified Canada.

THE HONOURABLE BRIAN PECKFORD

Serving as Premier of Newfoundland from 1979 to 1989, Mr. Peckford co-authored the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms and continues to educate and inspire citizens to better serve democracy.

Thank you for keeping in mind that there will be a fee for admission on the evening of May 28th as well the gathering on May 29th as there are a limited number of spaces for guests. This is a non-profit event organized by volunteers which means that donations and tickets will be used to cover the cost of running the event and promotion.
