Reclaiming Breech Birth Workshop - Rockhampton QLD

Join us for the Reclaiming Breech Birth Workshop in Rockhampton QLD! This in-person event will be held at Rockhampton Hospital, in the Learning and Development Centre, Lecture room 1(parking available on site or street, please arrive by 8:50am). The Reclaiming Breech Birth Workshop is an Australian College of Midwives CPD Endorsed activity offering 6 CPD points. This workshop is specifically designed for midwives but is suitable for doctors, paramedics and students interested in learning more about breech birth. The workshop will cover antenatal education, intrapartum and postnatal care, understanding physiological breech and identifying deviations, understanding research, ACM Consultation & Referral Guidelines and the Midwifery Code of Conduct, documentation, simulation practice and reviewing of breech birth videos. Don't miss this opportunity to deepen your understanding on breech birth. There are tea and coffee facilities and the hospital cafe is a 5min walk, there may also be a coffee van outside the centre in the morning. Morning and afternoon tea is included as well as a 'Breech Consumer Handout' to give to expectant parents and a 'Breech Manoeuvre Guide' to add to your birth kit or birth suite rooms! See you there!
