Join us for the Reclaiming Breech Birth Workshop in Adelaide SA! This in-person event will be held at Lyell McEwin Hospital, on Haydown Road (paid parking available in multi storey car park, please arrive by 8:50am). Workshop will be held in room BL2067/68, Hospital entrance through the Women's Health Entry off Trembath Road, take lift to Level 2. The Reclaiming Breech Birth Workshop is an Australian College of Midwives CPD Endorsed activity offering 6 CPD points. This workshop is designed for midwives, obstetricians, paramedics and students interested in learning more about breech birth. We will also be joined by special guest Dr Andrew Bisits with over 30yrs experience! The workshop will cover antenatal education, intrapartum and postnatal care, understanding physiological breech and identifying deviations, understanding research, ACM Consultation & Referral Guidelines and the Midwifery Code of Conduct, setting up breech clinics, documentation, simulation practice and reviewing of breech birth videos. Don't miss this opportunity to deepen your understanding on breech birth. BYO lunch. If you have a doll & pelvis bring it along! Morning and afternoon tea is included as well as a 'Breech Consumer Handout' to give to expectant parents and a 'Breech Manoeuvre Guide' to add to your birth kit or Birth Suite rooms! See you there!
