Reclaiming Body Wisdom

In this workshop, you will have the opportunity to explore the disconnect between mind and body created by cultural norms and systems of oppression—and begin the process of healing and integration. Through guided reflection and embodied practices, you will:

• Understand the cultural conditioning that prioritizes logic, productivity, and mental control over emotion, rest, and intuition.
• Recognize how systems of oppression (such as colonization, racism, fatphobia, ableism, and gender norms) disconnect us from our bodies and internal wisdom.
• Identify the impact of disembodiment on your sense of self, including burnout, self-doubt, and disconnection.
• Reclaim body wisdom by validating emotional, intuitive, and sensory truths as essential forms of knowing.
• Practice integration of "head knowing" and "body knowing" as a path toward personal healing, empowerment, and radical resistance.
• Reconnect with your wholeness—within yourself, with others, and with the living world around you.
