Reclaim Your Body Retreat

An experience like no other because this day retreat in the heart of the Surrey Hills, will leave you feeling empowered in your body! The focus of this retreat is to help you build body confidence through ecstatic dance, meditation, journaling, an underwear group photoshoot and a Body Confidence workshop taking you on a nourishing journey towards a strong and positive relationship with your body. 

At the heart of this retreat is self-acceptance and providing you with a safe space to be you.

We will create a non-judgemental environment where you can explore your insecurities and embody your body! This is an opportunity for you to reclaim your body and reconnect with yourself in the most magical and uplifting way, surrounded by beautiful like-minded souls and nature. 

What will the photo session look like?

In a stunning location, this natural light group photo session will be one of our last activities, following a day of self-work and connection. This exercise is all about the experience of feeling empowered and liberated while allowing yourself to be (almost) naked around other (almost) naked women! There is the option to go naked too, if you want!

All participants will receive a set of high-quality web-resolution group photos. 

The option of buying fine art 12x8” prints will be available after the retreat (£30 per print, including shipping).Taking part is not mandatory however, an adult model Release will be mandatory for those taking part: this will allow the images to be shared with the participants and for promotional purposes. 

The Retreat Schedule:

10.00am - 10.15am - Arrival at Tor Hatch - Tea/Coffee/Snacks

10.15am - 11.00am - Opening Ceremony

11.00am - 12.30pm - Interactive Body Confidence Workshop: Reconnecting with your body

12.30pm - 1.30pm - Delicious Vegetarian and Vegan Lunch

1.30pm - 2.00pm - Nature walk and connecting with each other

2.00pm - 3.00pm - Group underwear photoshoot (nude option available!)

3.30pm - 4.30pm - Ecstatic dance followed by Unwind Sharing Circle with tea and snacks

4.30pm - 5.00pm - Closing Ceremony and goodbyes + goodie bags

Tallulah

Tallulah is a Body Confidence Coach passionate about helping women build a positive and nurturing relationship with their body because she knows when this relationship is strong it has the capacity to empower all areas of our lives. 

She works closely with women in 1:1 and group settings and delivers Body Confidence Workshops around the UK at Wellbeing events and also travels to schools to talk to teenagers, sharing her story about her body image struggles and providing them with tools they can use to start their journey of self-acceptance. 

She is fun, warm and welcoming and has so much wisdom to share about this topic of body acceptance and absolutely loves bringing women together to connect, talk and learn from one another. 

Luana

Luana Martignon is an Italian photographer based in the UK.

After working on her body confidence and self-awareness for many years, she discovered how photography and self-portraiture were very effective tools for improving her own self-acceptance and mental health.

Lu founded Intimate Portraits by Lu to apply the same practices in helping others. Through her work, she challenges societal barriers and stigmas, supporting individuals to appreciate and celebrate their bodies through photography. Her mission is to improve representation, break taboos, and foster inclusivity and value for all. She also recognises the power in portraying the deep connection humans have with themselves and each other

Recent highlights include:

• Being shortlisted for the Portrait of Britain Award 2023;

• Capturing a guerrilla group nude portrait at Tower Bridge (London) for International Women’s Day 2024 to raise awareness about the widespread issue of sexual assault on women.
